Today was spent packing up and traveling from Busan to Seoul. In other words, all business. I finished a book and enjoyed the view from the KTX. I parted ways with my travel companions, then checked into my final stay. Spare, but sufficient for the task of a bed until my departure tomorrow morning.
I spent a couple of hours walking around alone. Most of the stores were closed today, for New Years Day (?) but the streets were still filled with tourists and street vendors. Many of the underground shops were also still open.
I’ve had a wonderful trip. The most exciting part about this trip in particular was sharing the experience with friends. The experiences and conversations I’ve had will give me a lot to think on in this new year about certain goals and ideals I’ve held for a long time. I hope to travel again with them soon!
