An early start, fueled by kiwi juice (!) and an egg sandwich from Isaac Toast. Pretty tasty; unfamiliar flavors included very sweet bread (cake level) and corn in the scramble eggs. I would have it again, and maybe try for a flavor with pickles?
We headed out to Haeundae beach, where it was still chilly but quickly warmed with the brilliant sun. It was absolutely beautiful! Strangely, it didn’t smell strongly of the sea. We walked along the length of the beach, up to the lighthouse, and back again.

Next, we had some snacks. Everything was delicious; we started with some fish cakes before having some seeded hotteok (AMAZING.) Not pictured, overly dilute americano – 16 ounce, double shot seems like a standard? I’m may need to order straight espresso instead.

We attempted to catch the sky train to the more northern beach, but it was sold out. Instead, we took the less glamorous “low” train, enjoying an amazing sunset while waiting to board.
Sunset ending, we ended the brief train ride (ten minutes?) and wandered to eat at the nearest grilled seafood we could find. Key Busan experience unlocked – very tasty! We took a village bus up giant hill and headed back to our hotel for much needed rest!
